Embodied dialogue with Iron (on Welsh Land)

This performance by Lisa Evans and her students (Carmarthen School of Art) is an investigation of a mixture of earth’s natural materials through a series of performative actions using cast iron as its catalyst. Ladles of molten iron were poured into ceramic vessels and the mass stirred around continuously. Repetitive gestures of drawing with iron onto a canvas and wooden structure will occur to map space and perimeters.

The performance is delivered on Welsh land but subconsciously connected to Wrocław.
