Lisa Evans is the Programme Director of Fine Art Practice at Carmarthen School of Art. The programme is unique within Wales due to the bespoke foundry facilities for iron, bronze and aluminium casting. Working as an artist and educator, these have become closely aligned as one within her practice.

Her background in iron casting has allowed her to travel Nationally and Internationally to conferences and symposiums which celebrates and educates artists and those who are interested in the process. She is an Iron Maiden II Made in Wales which is a collective of female sculptors, all who specialise in the raw medium of cast iron.
